Saturday 11 June
Workshop Woman Cave - Settlement for care

We do not serve lunch, but Woman Cave would love to have lunch together. There will be time during the breaks so you can grab something nearby or please bring your own sandwich to eat together. Because the workshop will be held in the middle of the exhibition we ask you to bring as little as possible. There are lockers available for your valuables. You can of course bring a bottle of water and your phone. We’re looking forward to meet you!
Woman Cave is a transdisciplinary collective exploring the notion of gender and inclusivity in spaces, founded by architect Chloé Macary-Carney, artist and researcher Léticia Chanliau and anthropologist Aleksandra Belova.
Woman Cave proposes to install a Settlement for care by inviting you to the practice of collective craft. In particularly by printing inspiring quotes onto upcycled fabric and your old t-shirts. This workshop is a moment of collective reflection and crafting, during which we will share feminist and queer references that inspire us to imagine spaces with more open-hearted discussion.
Your work will become part of the exhibition – let’s fill in the missing content together!
