textile friday during dutch design week 2018

State of Fashion joins In4nite Seminar

Dutch Design Week is coming up, and State of Fashion will be present to share thoughts with visitors during this week of future thinking. On October 26th José Teunissen will be keynote speaker during Textile Friday, part of the In4Nite Seminars.

The first edition of In4nite and its subsequent presentation was at the Dutch Design Week in 2017. This event marked the birth of Low & Bonar’s innovation platform. In4nite will return to Eindhoven in 2018 with an exhibition and a series of seminars.

On 26 October, In4Nite organizes Textile Friday, a seminar that focuses on circularity and interdisciplinary collaboration in the fashion industry. Professor José Teunissen, Dean School of Design and Technology London College of Fashion (UAL) and Senior Research Fellow ArtEZ, was curator of the exhibition State of Fashion 2018 | searching for the new luxury. During her talk she’ll share findings from her search, and will speak about how technology and society relate to fashion now and in the future. She will be joined by speakers Dr. Jens Oelerich (senior researcher and lecturer at Saxion University of Applied Sciences) and Marc Meijer (founder and owner of DenimX).
