Anabel Poh Zhi Ru, Singapore, Singapore, 1998.

Anabel Poh is a textile designer and a social design researcher whose works focuses on emotional resonance with people, objects, and the world around them. Her Southeast Asian heritage and innate sensitivity have led her to explore design as a way to provoke feelings of change.

Meaningful Deconstruction, 2021.

Meaningful Deconstruction is a series of deconstructed & reconstructed textiles that uses leftover scarves from the production process as an example to reframe how designers upcycle objects & how consumers value the upcycled outcome.
